WHAT CAN KING MEDIATION DO FOR YOU?

KING MEDIATION assists organizations and companies interested in designing an employment dispute resolution program that fits their corporate culture and is fair in both perception and fact.

KING MEDIATION assists organizations and companies draft and implement ADR clauses into their contracts. KING MEDIATION establishes company policies for bringing workplace issues to the employer’s attention. (E.g. in company handbooks or manuals, company bulletin boards, word of mouth, etc.) KING MEDIATION assists in the implementation of the ADR model into the organization.

KING MEDIATION mediates employment disputes to resolve such issues as: disputes between employees, deteriorating work performance, negotiating the business plan of the organization, negotiating salaries, negotiating severance packages, negotiating other compensation packages, discrimination and harassment.

Here is JUST ONE EXAMPLE of a Four-Step ADR Model for Employers and Employees that KING MEDIATION could implement:
    1) Internal Review: Establish a person within the organization whereby employees can approach him or her to informally discuss problems. (VP, supervisor, department head, HR person, etc.) This person would be the contact person to KING MEDIATION. (If the employee is not comfortable with approaching the contact person they can contact KING MEDIATION on their own, as shown in Step 2 below.)

    2) KING MEDIATION is contacted by the employer contact person. KING MEDIATION then resolves the issue with the employee. (Or if chosen by employer, the employee or employer could just go straight here, skipping step one).

    3) Mediation: KING MEDIATION schedules a mediation hearing. Disputes involving termination or legally-protected rights are required to be heard by the mediator.

    4) Final and Binding Arbitration: Most disputes are resolved by mediation, but if not, this option is available to the employee.
Following these procedures often result in a fast, easy and inexpensive resolution of the problem. KING MEDIATION is there to achieve this goal.
